In the Year of Giving, WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 aims to inspire and encourage young people to explore further education, skills, and apprenticeships. Volunteer registration has closed.
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 will bring together young people from 77 countries and regions across the world to compete in 51 skills competitions. It will be the first time in the history of WorldSkills that the Competition will take place in the MENA region and the largest event ever hosted in Abu Dhabi!
We're looking to you to be involved in a variety of roles to assist the thousands of competitors and visitors that are arriving from around the world.
In addition to showcasing Abu Dhabi’s traditional Arabian hospitality, you will get a chance to learn about the delivery of a major international event, develop team skills, and play an important role in the largest vocational education and skills excellence competition in the world. Volunteers are crucial to the success of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 and the legacy that lives on will lead to new opportunities in both skills and events for all volunteers involved.
