Competitors

The young people who competed in WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 were “the best of the best.” They had already proved their exceptional talents, winning selection to the teams of the 77 WorldSkills Member countries and regions through qualifying skills competitions.

With the exception of four skills with an upper age limit of 25, Competitors were not older than 22 in the year of the Competition.

In Abu Dhabi they competed in around 51 skills, hoping to take home gold, silver, or bronze or even the coveted Albert Vidal Award, which is given to the Competitor with the highest overall points.
